Keeping up to date in the NFL seems like a full-time job which is why I make use of some of the best sites on the planet. It's not just the sites that comprise the FFN index either. There are quite a few that I really enjoy and have found quite useful. I guarantee that they're more exciting than Frank Gifford's intro to Monday Night Football! So, without further ado and in no particular order, here are some of my favorite fantasy football sites.

FleaFlicker.com

Besides hosting several leagues on their platform, I regularly make reference to their data. For example, you'll often read about a team's defensive match up in the weekly FFN Where to Put 'em column. It's no coincidence that I attribute that data to FleaFlicker. The site makes looking up that kind of information incredibly easy. I also really enjoy the way that they integrate an opponent's rankings into the team screen. For example, if I have MJD starting this week, I simply have to hover over his opponent to see where that team ranks against the run. I have found the site to be incredibly intuitive.

ESPN

Few have the coverage that ESPN provides from both a video as well as a journalistic perspective. It's also home to one of my favorite analysts in Matthew Berry. His articles deftly combine a witty humor with a great fantasy perspective.

NFL.com Fantasy

NFL.com is a must stop each week. I am in a league hosted on NFL.com and I have to admit that their new league platform is an incredible leap forward. The use of video in the chart on the match up screen is very, very cool. It's great to be able to see the plays where your points are being earned. NFL.com also have an impressive, auto-updating last minute injury report that I consider a must-have tool on Sunday mornings.

Fantasy Football Librarian

One of my favorites. FFLibrarian.com highlights the best of the best on the web. Think of her like an intelligent search engine. She searches out some of the best articles in the fantasy football world and shares those links with everyone. Getting listed there is always a great honor for FFN.

The Football Girl

The Football Girl is a site that I came upon last year and have really enjoyed following. Melissa Jacobs is a fantastic writer who provides great weekly advice. I remember when she hit the scene by landing an interview with the one and only Barry Sanders. She followed that up with interviews with Thomas Jones and Antrel Rolle.

Owner's Edge - Fanball

I absolutely love their player news and that's why you'll see Fanball powering the NFL news section on FFN. What I like the most about it is the fact that they don't just provide the news. They also share the fantasy impact that the news has. I'll admit that I also have grown quite fond of listening to the Fanball Fantasy Drive on XM Radio. Kyle Elfrink, Ray Flowers, and Kay Adams have such an amazing chemistry that it's so entertaining. I would be remiss if I didn't play the man-card and mention that it doesn't hurt to have a woman like Kay Adams on the show either. Ridiculously attractive with the smarts to boot.

FFToolbox.com

FFToolbox.com is a very comprehensive site that really has something for everyone - rankings, news, and more. I'm also a bit biased on this one as I not only went to the same college as Jeff (I was a freshman when he was a senior) but we were also members of the same fraternity.

KFFL

Periodically I'll check in at KFFL if I want to get another opinion on weekly rankings.

Yahoo

The web's biggest portal is also one of it's better fantasy football resources. I enjoy reading their coverage and watching their analysis. I visit Yahoo several times a week.

There are so many other sites in my bookmarks that I'd like to list here but time has gotten away from me. You can see more of them at the fantasy football resources page.

If I'm missing a great resource on that page, be sure to email me at [email protected]!

Great roundup. I also make a point to look over at Razzball's football coverage, led by Doc/Chet Gresham.
