FFN Launches New Daily Fantasy Football Tool

I am proud to announce the launch of the new Daily Fantasy Football Lineup Assistant on FFN!

FanDuel Draft Kings Yahoo

The daily games from companies like FanDuel, DraftKings, and Yahoo have exploded in popularity. Weekly leagues are just like your regular fantasy football league in that your players earn fantasy points for the stats they put up in a game. The difference is that you're not tied into one team or scouring the waiver-wire looking for replacements. No drafting backups or bye-week fillers. Draft a new team each week. It's fun to play and even more fun to win!

Bang for your Buck

Introducing Bang for your Buck

FFN compares its rankings and projections to the weekly salaries from each daily fantasy football platform looking for the best values for every dollar that each player costs - hence the name Bang for your Buck.

The first thing we do is calculate the cost per point for every player. We want to know how much each projected point is going to cost us.

Next we calculate the percentage of cap room that each player will cost us. In the end, we want the most points for the least amount of money. Simple concept, right?

We use those numbers in our final calculations to produce a Bang for your Buck score for every player each week. We then use those scores in calculating an optimal lineup.

FantasyFootballNerd.com is Different

FFN is unique in the industry because we not only aggregate rankings and projections - we weight them based upon past accuracy. Our NerdRank algorithm is why the industry has recognized us time and time again as one of the most accurate sources on the web. Because of the way that we are setup, FFN is the ONLY company in the world that lets you set your rankings preference: Conservative, Consensus, and Aggressive using the most conservative of our rankings all the way up to the most aggressive. When FFN aggregates rankings and projections, some sources are more aggressive with their projections and some are more conservative. The Line-up Assistant lets you choose which set of projections you'd like to use. The Aggressive option lets you apply the upper limits of projected player production to your optimal line-up while the Conservative option applies the lower end of each player's projected potential. The Consensus option uses the final calculations from FFN's NerdRank algorithm.

Daily Fantasy Football Lineup Tool

We put even more of our data into your hands beyond the projections spectrum. If there's a player that you think is bound to have a huge game, you can specifically include him and we'll find an optimal team to surround that player. Conversely, if you think a particular player is overrated, you have the option to exclude that player and we'll find an optimal lineup that doesn't include him. You make the call and we'll fill in the blanks.

While the tool itself is somewhat complex under the hood, the concept is relatively simple. If you want to win playing daily/weekly fantasy leagues, you need to find the players who will give you the most points and cost you the least amount of dollars. It's my sincere hope that our new Lineup Assistant tool will help you accomplish that...and earn a few dollars at the same time.

The new tool will be available to all users in Week 1, so take it out and test-drive it. Good luck!
