All things considered, we got out of Week 2 without a ton of significant injuries. Joe Mixon is expected to miss at least the next two weeks. Greg 'The Leg' Zuerlein will miss an extended period of time, but he'll be back. LeSean McCoy and Larry Fitzgerald also suffered some injuries though we expect them to suit up. Here are the guys we're looking at on the waiver wire this week.
Giovani Bernard, RB - CIN
When Mixon first left the game last week, Gio Bernard looked great filling in for him. There's no real competition on the depth chart, so he'll have the volume to be a solid RB2 option while Mixon mends. If you have a need at the RB position, run...don't walk to put your claim in on Bernard.
Andy Dalton, QB - CIN
With an improved offensive line and a healthy receiving corp, Dalton has been a low-end QB starter averaging 26 fantasy points through two games. He has a nice matchup this week against the Panthers who were just torched by Matt Ryan and the Falcons.
Ryan Fitzpatrick, QB - TB
Given his history, Fitzpatrick could very well turn in a 190 yards and 1 score performance this week, but he could also keep the FitzMagic going. Jameis Winston's starting gig in Tampa Bay may not be as rock solid as many thought prior to the season. If the Bucs decide to go with the hot hand, Fitzpatrick is that hot hand - especially this week facing the Steelers who were just torched by Patrick Mahomes.
Phillip Lindsay, RB - DEN
The workload between Lindsay and Royce Freeman was pretty evenly split in Week 1, but we saw Lindsay rack up more touches than Freeman last week. He got the attention of plenty of fantasy owners went he went over 100 yards rushing. Lindsay could be a bet that pays off over the course of the season.
Quincy Enunwa, WR - NYJ
Enumwa has emerged as the Jets top receiving option for the second week in a row. He hauled in 7 catches for 92 yards on his 11 targets. Look for Enunwa to fill out fantasy rosters as a WR3.
