NBC SportsJake Irvin allowed two runs with two strikeouts over five innings in a no-decision against the Phillies on Saturday.

Irvin stranded baserunners in each of the first three innings before Bryson Stott got to him for a two-run homer in the fourth. He's end his day after five with just the two runs allowed with striking out two batters. The 28-year-old right-hander should probably be avoided for fantasy purposes when he takes on the Diamondbacks at home on Friday.

NBC SportsBryson Stott went 2-for-3 with a home run, three runs scored, two RBI, and two walks to lead the Phillies to a 11-6 win over the Nationals on Saturday.

Stott had an incredible day at the plate, starting with a double in the second inning. He then put the Phillies on the board with a two-run blast off Jake Irvin in the fourth. He later drew a walk and scored in the sixth and seventh innings to reach four times on the day.

NBC SportsVictor Scott II went deep again Wednesday, hitting his third homer of the spring off the Nationals' Jake Irvin.

Scott totaled eight homers and just 26 extra-base hits overall in 517 plate appearances between the majors and Triple-A last season, so this spring power outburst has been nice to see. He has six extra-base hits in a mere 46 plate appearances to date. There's just not going to be any way for the Cardinals to justify using Michael Siani over him in center.
