Ryan Weathers

Pauley and Bellozo are the injury replacements for Connor Norby and Ryan Weathers, respectively. Pauley will likely play third base against righties early on. Bellozo is due to start Saturday's game against the Pirates.

Weathers was diagnosed with a forearm strain back on March 20th, so this move is just procedural at this point. He is set to miss at least four-to-six weeks, so we'll need to check in on his progress in a few weeks to have a better idea of when he will return.

It's yet another setback for the team s starting rotation.

Junk could be in line to open up as Miami's fifth starter in light of Ryan Weathers' injury, though the team might be able to find someone freely available before then. The 29-year-old Junk has pitched a total of 40 major league innings with a 6.75 ERA over the last four seasons. He has a 5.23 ERA in 10 1/3 innings this spring.
