Tyler Phillips had a chance to hold onto the fifth spot in the Phillies' rotation for a short while, but he was sent back to Triple A Wednesday after being drilled by the Blue Jays.

The Blue Jays blitzed Phillips with three extra-base hits and two home runs while getting just one out on an RBI groundout. He was finally able to register a strikeout but then allowed his second single to George Springer in the same inning and was pulled from the game. The right-hander now has a 6.87 ERA on the season and cannot be trusted, even if the Phillies keep him in the rotation.

Barger was 1-for-3 with a two-run homer off Phillies rookie Tyler Phillips in his first at-bat of the contest before being lifted for a defensive replacement in the seventh inning. There should be some additional clarity on his status in the coming days. Fantasy managers should consider him day-to-day for now.
