Bassitt is not one to throw at max effort in spring training, so he was down by about two mph on most of his pitches today. It didn't pose any problems, obviously, as just one batter reached safely against him. He also had to work around an Ernie Clement error in the second.
Toronto's starting pitcher wore a "4-10" jersey while serving as the team's bat boy in their spring training game as a fantasy football punishment.
