Spencer Schwellenbach

The Jays are facing a lefty tonight, so Barger wasn't going to be in the lineup anyway. He'll likely be in there against righty Spencer Schwellenbach on Saturday.

Castellanos came through with a two-out, two-run double off of Spencer Schwellenbach in the sixth inning that tied the game at 2-2. He then played the role of hero in the 11th inning with an RBI single off of Aaron Bummer to send the Phillies' home faithful into a frenzy. On the season, the 32-year-old slugger is hitting a disappointing .249/.303/.421 with 19 homers and 76 RBI.

The lone run came on a homer from Donovan Solano, who had just entered as a pinch-hitter for Jurickson Profar in a 10-0 game. Woods Richardson has won back-to-back starts after going just 3-3 in his first 20 turns. He's allowed three runs or fewer in all but three of his outings. Woods Richardson will face Atlanta next time out. We're pretty excited about that one, since, barring any rotation changes, he'll be facing off against fellow very-long-name guy Spencer Schwellenbach.

O'Hoppe got the Angels on the board and tied the game at 2-2 with a homer off Spencer Schwellenbach with a runner on in the fourth inning. The 24-year-old has more than held his own in 2024 with 17 homers and a .748 OPS, and his 48 RBI in 104 games is much more a product of the Angels' lineup around him than anything O'Hoppe has done wrong.
