Lars Nootbaar and Brendan Donovan hit solo shots in the first two innings. Anderson allowed four other hits and a couple of walks, but he limited the damage otherwise. There's nothing much at all here to like fantasy-wise. He'll face the Guardians next time out.
Soriano will follow Opening Day starter Yusei Kikuchi with a favorable matchup against the floundering White Sox. The remainder of Los Angeles' starting rotation has been set, but the exact order has yet to be finalized between Tyler Anderson, Kyle Hendricks and Jack Kochanowicz.
With the Guardians' veteran regulars playing in the team's other split-squad game, Anderson struck out three today and lowered his spring ERA from 10.64 to 7.41. A Kyle Manzardo triple was the only extra-base hit he allowed.
Although he was credited with 3 1/3 innings, three of the six runs he allowed actually came in the fifth inning. He was pulled in the second after retiring none of the five batters he faced, though he was charged with only two runs then. Anderson has a 10.64 ERA through four spring starts. It's probably not a major concern, but he's really just an AL-only option anyway.
