Carter is back after missing two games with a right shoulder contusion. While the rookie provides additional depth off the bench, he's unlikely to get the minutes needed to impact fantasy basketball. Fantasy managers can afford to leave Carter on the waiver wire.
Carter has been diagnosed with a right shoulder contusion, according to a press release from the Kings. Still, the same report said he will be listed as questionable after missing the last two games. However, the rookie hasn't played a significant role lately, and with the main rotation players all healthy, he won't have a chance to take on extra minutes if he plays on Friday.
Carter will remain sidelined for a second-straight game with the shoulder injury that he suffered against Orlando on Saturday. However, he played a total of five minutes over Sacramento's two games prior to his shoulder injury. With Malik Monk back, Carter's availability will have little impact on the team's rotation.
Carter injured his right shoulder during Saturday's loss to the Magic and will not play on Monday. As for LaRavia, this will be the third game he has missed with a thumb injury, and he will be re-evaluated toward the end of next week. Carter's absence does not impact fantasy basketball, especially with Malik Monk having recently returned from an illness.
Kings rookie Devin Carter exited Saturday's game against the Orlando Magic with an apparent right shoulder injury.
