Risacher chipped in 36 points (12-21 FG, 5-11 3Pt, 7-9 FT), six rebounds and one steal across 35 minutes during Sunday's 145-124 win over Milwaukee.
Rissacher topped his previous career high of 33 points set against the Knicks on November 6. The No. 1 pick in the draft hit 12-of-21 shots, including 5-of-11 from beyond the arc as he led all scorers in Atlanta's blowout victory. He's got eight games left in his inaugural campaign, and he'll look to build on this quality performance during the home stretch.
Gueye is back in the starting lineup after coming off the bench on Thursday against the Heat, with Vit Krejci returning to the bench. The change was likely for matchup reasons, as the Hawks must match up with Giannis Antetokounmpo and Brook Lopez.
French stars Zaccharie Risacher and Alex Sarr are closing the gap, but Castle is by far having his best stretch of the season
Krejci will replace Mouhamed Gueye in the starting unit, and while Gueye has been a fixture of Atlanta's starting lineup since before the All-Star break, he hasn't seen the workload that an NBA starter usually does. Krejci should be closer to typical starters minutes, and he did have an effective stretch as a starter in January, which gives him some upside if he remains in this role.
