A game-time decision for Monday's game, Wagner has been cleared and will occupy his usual place in the starting lineup. Orlando will keep its same starters, with Jalen Suggs, Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, Paolo Banchero, and Wendell Carter Jr. rounding out the quintet.
Caldwell-Pope's regular season debut in a Magic uniform was rough. He missed all five of his shot attempts on the night. However, others picked up the slack offensively, and he was responsible for one steal and two blocked shots. KCP won't shoot this poorly consistently, so fantasy managers who selected him just outside the top 100 should not panic.
While starter Kentavious Caldwell-Pope had a rough night from deep, missing all five attempts, Harris picked up the slack. He scored 15 points in the first half, shooting 5-of-6 from beyond the arc. Orlando didn't need much more from Harris after halftime as Franz Wagner got going, and the Magic rolled from there. While Harris' performance was encouraging, there's no need to consider adding him right now.
Due to the hamstring injury suffered before the Nuggets' two games in Abu Dhabi, Watson did not see any action during the preseason. Sunday's practice was his first in five weeks, so fantasy managers should not expect too much from Watson if he's cleared ahead of Denver's season opener on October 24 against Oklahoma City. With the Nuggets losing Kentavious Caldwell-Pope in free agency, Watson's athleticism and defensive ability will get him rotation minutes once cleared to play in games.
Jokic has seemingly developed a knack for falling just short of a triple-double, but he's more likely to record one than not. The three-time MVP fell one assist shy of a preseason triple-double on Sunday, and the six turnovers aren't worth losing any sleep over. Even with Denver having one less proven shooter in the rotation due to Kentavious Caldwell-Pope's departure, Jokic will remain an elite player in fantasy basketball.
