Ryan Rollins (shoulder) joins Lillard and Portis on the injury report, and the Bucks will be sorely shorthanded against Charlotte. AJ Green and Delon Wright should continue to hold things down in Milwaukee's backcourt, and Taurean Prince and Pat Connaughton could see more playing time with Portis presumably sidelined.
The Bucks will have a new starting backcourt for Tuesday's game. Rollins, who has played well recently, will start for the injured Damian Lillard. Green replaces Andre Jackson Jr. and will make his first start of the season. Rollins offers a higher ceiling of the two as the starting point guard.
Middleton has yet to appear in a game this season and does not have a timeline for his return. The Bucks forward did not practice on Wednesday, but according to coach Doc Rivers, he will play 3-on-3 ahead of Thursday's game against the Jazz. Taurean Prince will remain the starter until Middleton is cleared to play.
With Giannis Antetokounmpo sidelined for Monday's game, Portis moves into the starting lineup. This boosts his fantasy value considerably, while established starter Gary Trent Jr. should get a few more shots.
While Middleton is progressing in his recovery, he still isn't ready to play in games. Taurean Prince will remain in the starting lineup, making him worthy of streaming consideration in deep leagues.
