After scoring 12 points or less in seven straight games, Brooks needed a night like Saturday. The veteran wing's 22 points are the most he's scored in a game since December 22 (27 vs. Toronto). Brooks' 9-cat value has been ranked outside the top 175 in 9-cat formats over the past two weeks, falling outside the top 150 for the season. He's still rostered in 20% of Yahoo leagues due mainly to his status as a starter.

Rockets coach Ime Udoka initially announced that Jeff Green would start for Amen Thompson. However, that was before Portland ruled out starting center Deandre Ayton. That change has prompted Udoka to change his lineup, replacing Uncle Jeff with Tate. This is Tate's first start of the season, but fantasy managers should expect to see plenty of Tari Eason off the bench.

Jeff Green will get the starting nod in place of Fred VanVleet, who is sidelined due to personal reasons. Amen Thompson and Alperen Sengun will likely take over playmaking duties, and while Green will likely see extra minutes, he is a risky streaming option.

After serving a two-game suspension, Thompson will slide into the starting unit for this game, which is a role he should maintain moving forward due to Jabari Smith's hand injury. Jeff Green started in their last game, but he'll be pushed back to the bench.

The Rockets will be without Jabari Smith Jr. for 4-8 weeks after he suffered a fractured hand during pregame shootaround. Jeff Green has replaced him in the starting lineup; he offers minimal streaming value in this spot. Fantasy managers should focus on Amen Thompson, Tari Eason (once healthy), and Cam Whitmore (especially if Eason misses more time) as replacements with Smith sidelined.
