Brooks didn't do much scoring after the break, but he made a huge impact early on. He scored 20 of his 26 points in the first half, which helped Houston take a 14-point lead into halftime. Despite being an elite defender, Brooks isn't able to get enough defensive stats to contribute in 9-cat leagues. Nights like this are great, but they certainly haven't been the norm for him. Brooks isn't worth adding off the waiver wire in standard leagues, even if he played well in this game.
