Bagley III continues to get an opportunity with some of the other Washington big men missing games. He's made the most of it lately with at least 16 points and at least seven rebounds in his last two games. Bagley III has established himself as a worthwhile streamer while the Wizards are missing some of their big man rotation.
Sarr and Baldwin are part of a long list of names on the Wizards' Sunday injury report. Marvin Bagley III and Richaun Holmes are among the bigs who could get more of an opportunity with so many players out.
Injuries have forced multiple changes to the Wizards' starting lineup. Carrington and Coulibaly will start because Malcolm Brogdon and Alex Sarr have been sidelined. The third change is Valanciunas, who replaces Marvin Bagley III to match up with Nikola Jokic.
Initially questionable for Saturday's game, Sarr has been ruled out. His absence leaves the Wizards down an option in the frontcourt, the last thing a team needs when Nikola Jokic is the opposing center. Jonas Valanciunas and Marvin Bagley III will have added importance with Sarr sidelined.
Sarr didn't make the initial injury report, but there is a chance that he misses their matchup with the Nuggets. Sarr has yet to miss a game this year, and in their last game, Marvin Bagley started alongside him in the frontcourt. Both Bagley and Jonas Valanciunas would see more minutes if Sarr is sidelined.
