Williams has scored 20 points or more in consecutive games, erasing most of the memories from his rough opener in Denver. JDub may not be on par with Shai Gilgeous-Alexander or Chet Holmgren regarding fantasy value, but he's a quality player to have rostered. Oklahoma City begins its three-game Week 2 with the Spurs on Wednesday.
Thunder coach Mark Daigneault has changed the starting lineup in his team's three games. Isaiah Joe started the opener, with Cason Wallace being tabbed for Saturday's game in Chicago. It will be Wiggins' turn to start Sunday night after accounting for 23 points and nine rebounds in the first two games. He's worthy of streaming consideration due to Sunday's slate being light.
Recently removed from the injury report after suffering a sprained ankle, Williams is in the starting lineup for Thursday's season opener. The other notable starter is Joe, who receives the nod with Isaiah Hartenstein (hand) sidelined. Alex Caruso, acquired from the Bulls this summer, will figure prominently off the bench, but that role limits his fantasy potential.
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Jalen Brunson are other names to watch.
SGA sat out during the Thunder's first preseason game, so this was the first time that he suited up since the Olympics. He knocked down some tough 3-pointers, which hasn't been a strong part of his game in the past. However, if he is able to add that to his repertoire, SGA will be even more impactful in fantasy hoops. He's already a lock to go in the top four in fantasy drafts, and he will be well worth the early pick.
