Christian Wood (left knee surgery) and Jaxson Hayes (right ankle contusion) have been progressing closer to a return, per head coach JJ Redick.Wood is set to start doing live work with coaches soon, while Hayes is working on strengthening his ankle and will have a clearer update next week. While this is certainly progress, there still isn't a firm timeline for either player. Christian Koloko will continue to be the backup center until Wood or Hayes returns.

Jaxson Hayes (right ankle sprain) is set to miss 2-3 weeks.Hayes re-injured his right ankle on Tuesday and has missed the Lakers' last two games since then. Christian Koloko will be the backup center until Hayes returns, but he won't see enough minutes to be worthy of a roster spot in fantasy hoops.
