Haliburton has picked up his play in recent weeks after a slow start to the season. The 24-year-old point guard has notably struggled on the road this season, though his overall numbers such as field goal percentage, points and assists are all down compared to last year. Haliburton didn't have a huge scoring night with 16 points, but he recorded 12 assists and turned it over just once in a road game Monday. He was a team-high +28 in 38 minutes in the six-point victory.
Steph Curry and Tyrese Haliburton's battle in the Golden State Warriors vs. Indiana Pacers game is the matchup to watch on Monday night.
After a slow start to the season, especially on the road, Haliburton is beginning to kink things into gear. Over the past two weeks, he has provided 1st-round value in standard 9-cat formats and top-15 in 8-cat. As a result, the season-long value is improving, with Haliburton being a 3rd-round player in 8- and 9-cat formats. He'll look to continue this recent run of success on Monday when the Pacers visit Golden State.
Haliburton has struggled on the road this season, but easily had his best game away from home against the 76ers Friday. He found his 3-point shot in this one and finished 7-of-15 from behind the 3-point line, leading to his game-high 32 points. Perhaps Haliburton had some extra motivation after backup T.J. McConnell went off for a career-high 30 points in the Pacers' last game. Either way, here's hoping Haliburton can build on his good shooting night in the future.
Nembhard is good to go for Friday's game, meaning Quenton Jackson heads to the bench. Nembhard joins Tyrese Haliburton, Bennedict Mathurin, Pascal Siakam, and Myles Turner in the Pacers' starting lineup.
