With Ja Morant returning from a shoulder injury, Bane did not have the ball in his hands as often Wednesday night. His value took a hit, as he only recorded one assist while shooting 5-of-14 from the field. Bane has been a top 40 player in eight- and nine-cat formats since the All-Star break, so one subpar night will not crater his value. And games against the Mavericks (Friday) and Pelicans (Sunday) should help Bane rebound before the end of Week 18.
Morant returns to action after missing two games with a shoulder injury, which pushes Luke Kennard to the bench. The other notable change is Williams, who steps into the void left by the injured Jaren Jackson Jr. (ankle). While a risky streaming option, Vince is worth a look in deep leagues.
Morant has missed the Grizzlies' last two games and is in danger of missing another. Desmond Bane took over playmaking duties on Monday with Morant out and recorded a triple-double. Luke Kennard will likely get another start if Morant remains out.
Pippen played 16 minutes off the bench in Monday's loss to the Hawks, as the Grizzlies employed a starting backcourt of Luke Kennard and Desmond Bane. If Ja Morant can return from his shoulder injury, Pipple will likely fall out of the rotation whether or not he's healthy or not.
Kennard started alongside Desmond Bane on Monday, as the Grizzlies were again without Ja Morant (shoulder). Luke had a good night, providing solid value in the points, assists and steals categories. When allowed to start, Kennard is a worthwhile streamer in deep leagues. Memphis plays three more games during Week 18, starting with the Thunder on Wednesday.
