Lillard and Kuzma were initially probable for Wednesday's game, so the status upgrades were expected. They will occupy their usual places in the starting lineup, and the Bucks will open with their usual quintet. Giannis Antetokounmpo, Taurean Prince and Brook Lopez are the other starters.
Lopez isn't known as a strong rebounder, but he was able to make an impact on the glass against Atlanta. He set a new season-high for rebounds and recorded his second double-double of the season on Tuesday. Most of his value in recent years has come from three-pointers and blocks, and while he was able to provide one of each, it wasn't his typical dose that managers have relied on. Lopez should continue to make his money in those two categories, and he shouldn't continue to provide as many rebounds as he did on Tuesday.
Giannis Antetokounmpo is probable, so the Bucks' starting frontcourt will be available, but the rotation will be a bit thin behind Giannis and Brook Lopez. With Kuz unlikely to play, AJ Green, Taurean Prince and Gary Trent Jr. should see more run.
Lopez finished behind only Giannis Antetokounmpo for the team lead in scoring and field goal attempts. He made only seven of his 16 shots, but he got to the line with ease and cashed seven of eight from the charity stripe. Lopez finishes February with a scoring average just north of 15 points per game. He'll look to carry that momentum into Saturday's tilt with Dallas' skeleton crew frontcourt.
The Bucks have made two changes to the lineup that began Thursday's win over the Clippers. Rollins, who's closing in on his 50-game limit as a two-way player, and Green will start because Damian Lillard and Taurean Prince are unavailable. Also, Giannis will be limited to 24 minutes again as he continues to work his way back from a strained calf.
