Three-time NBA champion B.J. Armstrong believes Jonathan Kuminga will be the next great Golden State Warriors star if he follows the correct development path.
Draymond Green believes this specific Golden State Warriors teammate is key to the team overcoming the loss of young forward Jonathan Kuminga.
Green hasn't been a great fantasy option this season as his scoring numbers continue to decline. The 34-year-old power forward recorded a double-double on Tuesday despite scoring only seven points. He can still be useful for fantasy teams that don't need to count on him to provide scoring. With Jonathan Kuminga out, Kyle Anderson could move into the starting lineup if Green misses Thursday's game.
There weren't many bright spots from the Warriors blowout loss to the Kings, but Moody was able to have a solid night in 26 minutes. Steve Kerr said that Moody would take on a larger role with Jonathan Kuminga set to miss at least the next few weeks, and he played well in their first game without Kuminga. Moody isn't worth adding in standard leagues at this point, but it is encouraging to see him play well. They only have three games next week, so keep an eye on how Kerr uses him in the rotation.
Steve Kerr called the injury "brutal."
