Mitchell had scored at least 33 points in five of his last seven games entering play Monday, but only scored 21 points against the Pistons. The 28-year-old shooting guard had a decent game shooting as he was 6-of-12 from the field, though that's not a lot of shots for him. He made 2-of-6 attempts from behind the 3-point line. Mitchell hasn't quite had the season fantasy managers had hoped due to the emergence of of teammates Evan Mobley and Darius Garland, which continued to play out Monday.
Wade sustained the injury in Friday's loss to the 76ers, and it will cost him a second straight game. With Evan Mobley available, Wade's absence won't be impactful to fantasy hoops managers.
Mobley returned to the Cavaliers' lineup on Saturday after missing four games with a strained right calf. While the rebounds and blocked shots were solid, fantasy managers took a hit in the percentages. The good news for fantasy managers is that Mobley has played at a high level this season, so he shouldn't remain down for too long. He'll look to bounce back on Monday when the Cavaliers host Detroit, the first of four games they'll play during Week 14.
Sengun's 26 points were the most he's scored in a game since January 9, when he dropped 32 in a win over Memphis. The Rockets managed to sweep their season series with Cleveland, and Houston's starting center was one of the heroes. Sengun didn't record a double-double as he did in Wednesday's win over Cleveland, but he did much of what he wanted as a scorer despite the Cavs having Evan Mobley and Jarrett Allen on the court. Houston plays four games during Week 14, beginning with the Celtics on Monday.
Mobley is set to return from a four-game absence due to a right calf strain. His replacement in the starting lineup has been Max Strus, though Strus may remain in the starting lineup with Caris LaVert and Dean Wade also out Saturday.
