While LaRavia and Carter were active for Tuesday's loss to the Thunder, the latter only logged three minutes despite the Kings not having Malik Monk. LaRavia has played consistent rotation minutes, but making a dent in fantasy leagues behind Zach LaVine and DeMar DeRozan has been difficult.
Having taken a back seat offensively for most of this season, Murray had a big night on Tuesday. He established new season-highs with 28 points and nine three-pointers. Add in the rebounds and defensive stats, and Tuesday was an excellent night for Murray managers. Over the past two weeks, he has provided fourth-round value in nine-cat formats. While Murray has to be rostered in most leagues, his fantasy ceiling has been lowered by the presence of Zach LaVine and DeMar DeRozan in the Kings' lineup.
On a night where DeRozan's shot wasn't falling, he still found a way to make an impact. This was his second double-double of the season, with both coming in the month of March. Despite the rough shooting night, DeRozan was still able to extend his 20-point streak to seven games, though Sacramento has now dropped three in a row and seven of their last nine. DeRozan will keep on doing his thing, but they'll need him to be more efficient than he was in this game to snap their losing streak.
DeRozan has scored 22 points or more in six straight and nine of his last ten outings. However, the limited production outside of points, rebounds and assists limits his value in category leagues. Despite averaging 23.5 points per game over the past three weeks, DeRozan is ranked just outside the top 100 in eight- and nine-cat formats. The Kings play four games during Week 21, starting with a Monday/Tuesday home back-to-back against the Celtics and Thunder.
Due to illness, Malik Monk will not be available for Saturday's game. Ellis will replace him in the starting lineup. While Monk is sidelined, Ellis is worth streaming. Rookie Devin Carter may play a few more minutes off the bench, but he is not a must-stream player.
