Reaves is listed as probable for Wednesday's game versus the Cavaliers due to a left thigh contusion, Dan Woike of the Los Angeles Times reports.
Reaves cleaned things up after an inefficient Saturday night against the Kings, scoring 23 points while committing just one turnover (he had six against Sacramento). Overall, the Lakers guard has gotten off to a good start, and there's no reason to believe that will change anytime soon.
Reaves had a decent Saturday night, but the six turnovers were a bit of a downer. The good news for fantasy managers is that high-turnover nights aren't typical for Reaves, especially when playing alongside LeBron James and Anthony Davis. He has been a top 20 player in 9-cat formats through three games, according to Basketball Monster.
Anthony Davis again dominated inside for 36 points, Austin Reaves makes five of seven from deep to score 26, and LeBron James had 21 points and eight assists in the Lakers' 123-116 win.
Reaves' numbers didn't pop, but he was able to do a little bit of everything in this game despite a substandard shooting performance. He contributed numbers across the board and fell one rebound shy of a double-double. Reaves didn't make any of his five 3-point attempts and missed his only free throw, which is out of character for him. However, there is no reason for managers to be concerned at this point. Reaves should still be in for a solid season as the Lakers' third option behind Anthony Davis and LeBron James, and he may still outplay his Yahoo ADP of 88.4.
