Alvarado has been sidelined since early November, and he's unlikely to return until just before Christmas. The good news for the Pelicans is that the recent returns of Dejounte Murray and CJ McCollum have bolstered their depth on the perimeter. Those two will continue to handle most of the playmaking responsibilities, with Brandon Boston Jr. coming off the bench.
