Lillard accumulated 33 points (7-15 FG, 2-8 3Pt, 17-18 FT), seven rebounds, seven assists, two steals and one block across 36 minutes during Monday's 119-108 loss to Boston.
Lillard had a tough night from beyond the arc, making one of his seven attempts in Brooklyn. Through three games, he's shot 10-of-29 from distance, a far cry from his 37.5% clip from last season. There's still plenty of basketball to be played, so fantasy managers don't need to be concerned. Milwaukee opens a three-game Week 2 in Boston on Monday.
Three-fifths of Milwaukee's starting lineup was considered probable for Friday's game. Giannis, Trent, and Lopez have been given the all-clear, so they'll take their usual places alongside Damian Lillard and Taurean Prince.
After scoring 30 in Wednesday's win over Philadelphia, Lillard put up 28 more on Friday. Khris Middleton's (ankles) being sidelined means even more shots for Dame and Giannis Antetokounmpo, which sets both up for good starts to the season. The only negative for Lillard (besides the outcome) was the turnover count, as he was responsible for five.
Trent had a relatively quiet night in his Bucks' regular season debut, only attempting six shots and offering minimal value in categories outside of points and 3-pointers. He'll have his moments playing off of Damian Lillard and Giannis Antetokounmpo, but GTJ's fantasy value will take a hit once Khris Middleton (ankles) is cleared to return.
