Holmgren played 34 minutes in the Thunder's win over the Celtics Wednesday and that marks the most he's played in any game since returning from injury in early February. The 22-year-old power forward played about 10 more minutes than Isaiah Hartenstein, who came off the bench. Holmgren was efficient with 23 points on 14 shots including three 3-pointers. With Kristaps Porzingis out with an illness, he had his way on the glass with 15 rebounds. Holmgren might not play this many minutes every night, but fantasy managers can continue to count on him for value.
The Thunder will be without Jalen Williams, who has been sidelined indefinitely by a hip injury. Wallace and Wiggins will be in the starting lineup while Isaiah Hartenstein heads to the bench. While iHart should remain rostered in most leagues, Wallace and Wiggins are worth streaming in deep leagues when allowed to start.
Holmgren is not on the injury report for Monday's game against the Nuggets.
Oklahoma City had both of its starting big men available for Monday's game, the team's second in as many days. However, neither Hartenstein nor Chet Holmgren (8/4/1/0/2) played more than 30 minutes in the rematch with the Nuggets. Given how far ahead of the competition the Thunder are in the Western Conference, it would be unsurprising if the team took steps to rest some of its key players ahead of the postseason. As long as Hartenstein and Holmgren are on the court, fantasy managers will receive solid value from both on most nights.
Holmgren and Isaiah Hartenstein (10 points, 11 rebounds and one assist in 31 minutes) returned to the Thunder after sitting out Friday's win over Portland, and both were effective. While the latter recorded his 23rd double-double of the season, Holmgren has blocked at least three shots in 11 games. The second-year forward/center has been a top-25 player since the All-Star break, but availability remains a lingering concern. Holmgren should be considered questionable for Monday's rematch with the Nuggets, as he hasn't played both games of a back-to-back since returning from a fractured hip in early February.
