In order to combat Clint Capela, Mike Brown will swap Len in to replace Doug McDermott, who got the start in place of Domantas Sabonis in their last game. With both Sabonis and DeMar DeRozan sidelined, Lyles will get another start as well.
Sacramento's playing without three of its top scorers and Keegan Murray's being played out of position on Saturday gave Huerter more opportunities to score. Red Velvet scored 18 points, four shy of his season-high. His fantasy value moving forward hinges on the availability of DeMar DeRozan and Domantas Sabonis, as a lot of the offense is run through them and De'Aaron Fox.
The Kings have made two changes to the lineup that began Friday's overtime loss to the Timberwolves. McDermott moves into the lineup due to Domantas Sabonis (back) being sidelined, while Lyles replaces Alex Len after he played nine ineffective minutes on Friday. And with Utah starting John Collins at the five, Lyles is a better matchup than Len.
With DeMar DeRozan (back) sidelined, Murray figures more prominently in the Kings' offense on Friday. The 15 shots were the most in a game for him since November 6, when he matched his season-high with 17 attempts in a win over Toronto. Add in the rebounds and defensive stats; this was a solid night for Murray. He remains an 8th-round player in 9-cat formats, but the fantasy ceiling is limited due to the presence of DeRozan, De'Aaron Fox, and Domantas Sabonis in the Kings' rotation.
With DeMar DeRozan sidelined, Len will get his first start of the season in a massive lineup for the Kings. There's definitely a chance that Len still doesn't play the typical minutes of a starter, but this is a great opportunity for him. Keon Ellis should see extra minutes off the bench with DeRozan and Malik Monk out.
