Both players remain without a timeline for return, and the tanking Jazz won't be in a hurry to rush them back. Brice Sensabaugh, KJ Martin and Johnny Juzang should see a bump in playing time with Markkanen and Clarkson sidelined.
Juzang was one of the main beneficiaries of the Jazz sitting almost half of their roster Wednesday. The 23-year-old shooting guard got the start and poured in 27 points with five 3-pointers. It was a season-high in points for the former UCLA product. Juzang is someone to keep an eye on with the Jazz seemingly uninterested in playing most of their regular starters on certain nights.
The Jazz will play Wednesday's game without multiple rotation players, so the youngsters will get extended opportunities to prove themselves. Collier, Sensabaugh and Filipowski are the starters most worthy of being streamed, with the former being just as valuable when Utah is at full strength.
Utah has a great opportunity to get a game closer to Washington in the race for Cooper Flagg, so managers shouldn't be surprised that Markkanen and Clarkson will miss yet another game. Brice Sensabaugh and Johnny Juzang should remain in the starting lineup.
Sexton and Kessler are back after missing Sunday's win over the Pelicans. Their returns mean Brice Sensabaugh and Kyle Filipowski will move to the bench, but both will have ample playing time. They're worth holding onto, especially with the Jazz revving up the tank.
