It was a relatively quiet game for Wemby, one of the best players in all of fantasy. The 21-year-old power forward had 21 points and 10 rebounds for a double-double, but didn't do much else. He made 3-of-8 attempts from behind the 3-point line, but only had one block after tallying 16 blocks in his last three games.
Friday's game wasn't going to be an easy matchup for Jackson, especially after Zach Edey exited during the first half with a nasal injury. He didn't have his best night shooting the basketball, and the rebounds and defensive status were minimal. That will happen when faced with the task of dealing with Victor Wembanyama. Also, he's shot over 49% from the field over the past two weeks. Shooting 16-of-44 in two wins over the Spurs has minimally impacted Jackson's numbers. He'll be fine.
The six blocks give Wemby 16 blocks total in three games so far this week with still another game left to play Sunday against the Heat. The 21-year-old power forward had a relatively quiet game offensively as he had just 19 points on 19 shots, though he made 3-of-7 attempts from behind the 3-point line. Wembanyama is the definition of an elite fantasy player.
Sadly, Morant's incredible dunk came after the whistle
Morant opened the season by dishing out at least 10 assists in five of his first six appearances, which included four double-doubles and a triple-double. However, this was only his third double-double since then. The highlight of Morant's night was a poster dunk on Victor Wembanyama, though it was after the whistle and didn't count. However, the rest of his production did count, and he was able to provide solid value in the win. They close out the week with a rematch with the Spurs on Friday.
