Hawkins has missed plenty of games over the last six weeks with a back injury. While his return doesn't impact fantasy basketball much at all, it gives the Pelicans some extra bench depth.
Hawkins has been in and (mostly) out of New Orleans' lineup this season, but he'll get a chance to return Thursday against the Rockets. He'll likely face a minutes restriction if he's cleared to take the court.
After missing eight of nine games in November with a back issue, Hawkins returned to make three appearances before he was sidelined again. He'll miss at least one more week of action before the Pelicans evaluate his progress. Hawkins' absence doesn't significantly impact fantasy basketball, but it does leave a team light on bench options shorthanded.
Hawkins (back) has been diagnosed with a lumbar spine annular fissure and will be re-assessed in approximately one week
Ingram has been upgraded to questionable after sitting out Sunday, and he's got a chance to play the second leg of New Orleans' back-to-back set. Jordan Hawkins remains out, and Jones is unlikely to play. Trey Murphy III and Brandon Boston Jr. should see increased playing time on Monday in a favorable matchup with Atlanta.
