As a team, the Thunder shot 33.7% from the floor and 15.6% from beyond the arc. While Wallace didn't help much with that, he was still able to play solid defense off the bench and contribute some stocks. Alex Caruso (3 steals) was able to do the same in 24 minutes. Isaiah Joe got the start, but his shot wasn't falling like they needed it to, which resulted in Mark Daigneault turning to Caruso and Wallace more. Wallace came off the bench in this game despite starting their last three games and six of their last seven. We'll see if he returns to the starting unit on Thursday in Orlando.
Cason Wallace and Goga Bitadze are worthy of consideration in the aftermath of their performances on Tuesday.
Wallace was a factor defensively, one of the reasons why Dallas committed 19 turnovers (OKC scored 36 points off of turnovers). His playing time was notable, with Isaiah Joe (9/3/3 with three 3-pointers) playing 17 minutes and Aaron Wiggins (three points, one steal, and one 3-pointer) nine. Wallace will be worth a longer look in deep leagues if that split continues.
Saturday's performance wasn't one of Wallace's best scoring-wise, but the rebounds and steals were good value for the few managers who have him rostered. Wallace has been ranked just outside the top 75 in 9-cat formats over the last two weeks. Still, the inconsistent scoring and presence of Isaiah Joe and Aaron Wiggins make it difficult to fully commit to any of them in fantasy.
There's just one change to the lineup that started Thursday's win over Toronto, with Wallace replacing Isaiah Joe. While Wallace, Joe, and Aaron Wiggins have all played credible rotation minutes, the former has been slightly more reliable regarding category league value.
