Kobe Bufkin

Young has consistently shown up on recent injury reports, but that was due to lingering tendinitis in his right Achilles tendon. This heel injury is a different situation, so his status for Saturday appears to be in some question. With Kobe Bufkin done for the season, Vit Krejci will figure more prominently in the rotation if Young is limited or cannot play.

Hawks backup center Onyeka Okongwu will be out at least four games with left knee inflammation, while guard Kobe Bufkin will miss the rest of the season due to a right shoulder injury.

Bufkin appeared in just 10 games before his 2024-25 season came to a close. The Hawks guard is expected to make a full recover for the 2025-26 campaign.
