Burks tore his ACL in Week 6, so this should leave him a as a PUP candidate in 2025. In theory Burks figures to be as good a bet as any of several UDFA and low-level signings on Tennessee's roster behind Calvin Ridley. In actuality, Burks has done nothing with his opportunities and this injury has made it hard for him to impress coaches in camp. It wouldn't be a surprise if he didn't make the roster at final cuts.
