The Titans have signed veteran edge rusher Lorenzo Carter, the team announced Thursday.

Carter is a good fit for the Titans. At 29 years old, he is no longer an every-down player, but with Dre'Mont Jones and Arden Key leading the way, Carter should be able to contribute effectively. He totaled seven quarterback pressures and 25 tackles last season.

The Falcons did not use Carter often last year, 2024 was his second-straight season with under 500 defensive snaps. Carter has just three sacks to his name the last two seasons, which is a little sad for someone who works mostly as a third-down rusher.
