Ravens RB Justice Hill pulled a team-high 7 targets in Sunday's loss to the Steelers. He caught four of them for 28 yards.
Harbaugh said he sees "a little bit of a three-headed monster" in the Ravens' backfield, but we'll take that comment with a grain of salt. Justice Hill is averaging just 6.4 opportunities/gm this season, and Henry is leading the league in rushing through the first 10 weeks. We'd expect Mitchell to get additional work in the coming weeks, but a true "three-headed monster" approach seems unlikely, especially with Lamar also handling work on the ground.
Pro Football Focus charted Mitchell playing two snaps behind Derrick Henry and Justice Hill. Maybe he will eventually cut into Hill's snap share, but it doesn't seem likely any time soon. Mitchell isn't worth a stash in 12-team re-draft leagues.
Hill "added" two rushes for zero yards. Not the best night at the office. The only good news was that a returning Keaton Mitchell played all of two snaps. We doubt Mitchell challenges Hill's change-of-pace status any time soon, but more nights like tonight won't help. The Steelers are on tap for Week 11.
Ravens RB Keaton Mitchell is expected to play vs. the Bengals tonight, ESPN's Jeremy Fowler reports. It'll be Mitchell's first game since last December's season-ending knee injury. Mitchell will bring even more big-play ability to Baltimore's offense, but we're expecting him to at least start off as the No. 3 RB behind Derrick Henry and Justice Hill. Mitchell should not be in Week 10 fantasy lineups.
