The Eagles on Tuesday released veteran tight end Albert Okwuegbunam, who they initially acquired in August of 2023 in a trade with the Broncos.
Tight end Albert Okwuegbunam was designated to return from injured reserve last month, but he won't be returning to the Eagles' active roster.
Guess that's another year he's not helping any best ball teams. Okwuegbunam was placed on injured reserve near last cuts, but the Eagles likely decided they'd rather have that IR spot open for someone else. Okwuegbunam should catch on with a new team soon.
