It was par for the course for the Broncos today, who simply couldn't move the ball at all against the Steelers. The offensive line seemed unable to get any push, and the Broncos had to go to the air often after being down by two scores for most of the game. Even with Audric Estime on the IR, it's hard to feel confident about rostering Javonte Williams in what might be the worst offense in football. The good news in PPR formats is that it seems that Williams will be involved in the passing game, which could allow him to sneak into RB3 value in some weeks.
What's worse, McLaughlin didn't see a single target in the passing game, while Javonte Williams had five targets. Given his lack of usage in the rushing attack, and how poor the Broncos offense has looked as a whole through two games, if McLaughlin can't get counted on as a consistent receiver out of the backfield then his fantasy value is non-existent. In deeper formats, you can still hold onto him since Javonte Williams doesn't look great either, but fantasy managers in shallower leagues should move on.
Williams saw nine touches in the loss to Seattle while Jaleel McLaughlin picked up 15 with Audric Estime getting just two carries. Williams' lack of carries is partially explained by the Broncos falling behind, and neither tailback was very effective against the Seahawks' front seven. Williams will likely see more touches in Week 2 against the Steelers, but it's far from a guarantee he'll be any more effective.
McLaughlin also lost a fumble. The tailback out-touched Javonte Williams 14-9, but he didn't exactly make the most of those touches even with Bo Nix unable to get the ball down the field and checking down often to the 5-foot-7 runner. He'll be involved against the Steelers in Week 2, but it's unlikely the 23-year-old provides fireworks in that contest, either.
