The Raiders used up their temporary practice squad elevations for running back Sincere McCormick, so they made a more lasting roster move on Tuesday.

Abdullah had 42 snaps to Sincere McCormick's 26, but was outcarried and outproduced by McCormick on the ground. His role in the two-minute offense was the difference in what was essentially a split backfield. If Alexander Mattison or Zamir White make it back for Week 14, it will be hard to rely on Abdullah in fantasy football with McCormick's emergence in this backfield the last two weeks.

He added a yard by catching his only two targets in the air. McCormick showed more burst than Ameer Abdullah between the tackles, at least somewhat validating Antonio Pierce's early-week premonition that he was "excited" about using McCormick this week. Where the backfield goes in Week 14 with potential returns for Zamir White and Alexander Mattison is anyone's guess, but McCormick has done enough in the last two weeks to have a role if the Raiders aren't purely relying on their earlier priors.
