McMillan was sidelined with a hamstring injury for Week 9 and starts out this week not practicing in the Bucs' Wednesday walkthrough. If McMillan remains out, Cade Otton and Sterling Shepard will be the biggest beneficiaries. Rakim Jarrett will see increased snaps as well as the Bucs' depleted receiving corps nurses injuries.

McMillan suffered a hamstring injury Friday and will be unable to go in Week 9 against the Chiefs, while Evans continues to nurse his own hamstring injury. Their collective absences potentially open up additional snaps for Rakim Jarrett on the perimeter. Jarrett played 20 offensive snaps with McMillan on the field a week ago and is likely the best fill-in for a deep role in the offense. Also inactive for the Bucs are TE Devin Culp, DL Greg Gaines, LB Antonio Grier, OG Royce Newman, and LB Jose Ramirez.

Bucs WR Jalen McMillan (hamstring) is inactive for tonight s game vs. the Chiefs. He injured his hamstring in Saturday s practice, leaving him iffy for Week 10. The Bucs have a Week 11 bye. WR Sterling Shepard (hamstring) is active, joining Trey Palmer, Rakim Jarrett, Ryan Miller, and Marquez Callaway in this undermanned WR corps. TE Cade Otton is the best bet for Bucs targets tonight.

Two DNPs in a row are a bad sign for Shepard avoiding a Saturday rule-out. Shepard's absence would lead to a lot of Jalen McMillan and Trey Palmer against the Chiefs on Monday night. It's possible that recently-signed Marquez Callaway is elevated off the practice squad. Rakim Jarrett and Ryan Miller are Tampa's other healthy wideouts on the active roster.
