Bryant, the team's No. 3 TE, and No. 4 TE Justin Shorter (illness) were both unable to practice on Wednesday but, fortunately, No. 2 TE Michael Mayer (personal) returned to play in Week 11 after an extended absence. Mayer's presence helps negate concern over depth.
The former second-round pick has been out for personal reasons for a few weeks but is good to go for Week 11. With Harrison Bryant out, Mayer will slot in as Brock Bowers' backup once again. Inactive for the Raiders are CB Nate Hobbs, C Andre James, TE Harrison Bryant, LG Cody Whitehair, RB Dylan Laube, S Trey Taylor, and DT Zach Carter.
The Raiders will add some tight end depth for the second half of the season. NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero reports that the Raiders have activated tight end Michael Mayer from the non-football injury list.
