Steelers TE Pat Freiermuth tied his season low with a 58% snap share in Sunday's win over the Ravens. That matched his low set back in Week 2, but it also matched his snap share for Week 10. Freiermuth's playing time has been falling recently, from a Week 6 peek of 87%, to 71%, then 65%, and the 58% of the past two weeks. He has now tied or trailed TE Darnell Washington in snaps for two straight games.
Washington hauled in a 17-yard pass last in the third quarter and then found himself on the receiving end of a 25-yard pass over the middle of the field on the following drive. The 42 yards set a new career-high for Washington, who now has three games of 30-plus receiving yards this season. The Steelers seem to be incorporating him more in the passing game, but he doesn't have any fantasy utility at this time.
Freiermuth continues to disappoint fantasy managers. He's been held below 20 yards in four of his last five games and was out-targeted by Darnell Washington in Sunday's win over the Ravens. Freiermuth is averaging 2.6 targets per game and shouldn't be trusted in Week 12 against the Browns.
