Interim HC Darren Rizzi said Friday that Williams aggravated his groin injury in practice this week and is unlikely to play. Jordan Mims will serve as No. 2 RB on paper again, but TE Taysom Hill is the second-best bet for carries behind workhorse Alvin Kamara.

Williams missed Week 9 with the groin issue and Kendre Miller is back on injured reserve. Taysom Hill and Jordan Mims split the RB2 role with five carries each. Williams will serve as Alvin Kamara's backup if he's able to suit up for Week 10.

The Saints have placed RB Kendre Miller (hamstring) on IR. That ll knock him out for games against the Panthers, Falcons, Browns, and Rams. New Orleans promoted RB Jordan Mims to the active roster in a corresponding move. With Jamaal Williams also out for Sunday, Alvin Kamara will remain busy. Taysom Hill might rank second on the team in carries and presents some fantasy value in leagues where he carries TE eligibility.
