The Packers activated running back MarShawn Lloyd off injured reserve on Monday after his 21-day practice window opened.
Packers RB MarShawn Lloyd will be placed on the Non-Football Injury List after last week's appendicitis, HC Matt LaFleur said Wednesday. That knocks the tough-luck rookie out for at least the next four games. We won't see him until Week 16 at the earliest. Lloyd can be dropped from all redraft rosters.
Lloyd will miss another four games while recovering from his appendicitis. He had just been designated to return from injured reserve after getting over his hamstring injury when the latest issue popped up. With another four games off the table, Lloyd's rookie season is shaping up as a lost one with just six carries to his name so far.
The Packers placed Lloyd (ankle/hamstring/appendix) on the non-football illness list Wednesday, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
