Laube's set for a larger role Sunday against the Broncos, as Vic Tafur of The Athletic reports that both Alexander Mattison (ankle) and Zamir White (quad) will be listed as doubtful.

Zamir White is also doubtful, meaning Ameer Abdullah should draw the start. Abdullah hasn't seen double-digit carries since 2017, so we should get plenty of Dylan Laube touches as well. As underdogs to a stout Denver defense, this isn't a great spot for either running back, but there are touches up for grabs. Abdullah enters the weekend as a low-end RB3 while Laube is a dart-throw RB4.

The Raiders are expected to be extremely understaffed at running back this week with both White and Mattison listed as doubtful. Nearing the end of another lost season, it wouldn't be surprising for Dylan Laube, the rookie, the be the primary beneficiary of the injuries, though Abdullah has been playing over him so far.
