Hamstring injury The #Eagles ruled out WR DeVonta Smith (hamstring) for Sunday vs. the #Rams. (Tom Pelissero on X) FF Today's Take: The Eagles will be down one of their playmakers on offense as Smith missed practice all week with a hamstring injury. With Smith out, expect to see more of Jahan Dotson and Johnny Wilson but neither are recommended fantasy plays. Dallas Goedert becomes a more intriguing tight end play.
Eagles WR DeVonta Smith (hamstring) is out for Sunday night s game against the Rams after missing practice all week. He played through a hamstring issue in Week 11 but evidently had a setback at some point. Smith s absence will mean more snaps for some combination of WRs Jahan Dotson, Johnny Wilson, and Ainias Smith. But targets figure to consolidate even more around WR A.J. Brown and TE Dallas Goedert.
Eagles rookie Johnny Wilson got his first touchdown catch on Sunday but it's coming at a price.
Eagles QB Jalen Hurts ran for a pair of TDs and threw for the other two in Sunday's lopsided win over the Cowboys. He rushed for 56 yards and the 2 TDs on 7 carries, adding 202 passing yards on 14-of-20 passing. Hurts found TE Dallas Goedert for a TD from 14 yards out and rookie WR Johnny Wilson for a 5-yard score.
Hurts took five sacks in this one and lost a fumble, but with the Cowboys offense unable to muster any yards, there were plenty of chances for Hurts and the Eagles to rack up points. Hurts put the Eagles on the board with a one-yard touchdown run in the first quarter and found Dallas Goedert on a 14-yard touchdown pass in the second quarter. He would then connect with rookie Johnny Wilson for a five-yard score in the third and put a bow on things with a nine-yard touchdown run to give him his 10th rushing touchdown of the season. Hurts and the Eagles now prepare for a quick turnaround as they're set to face the Commanders in Week 11. Hurts will be a high-end QB1 in what could be a high-scoring affair.
