Robinson kept his No. 3 role over a returning Jordan Whittington, but it didn't amount to much behind target dominators Puka Nacua and Cooper Kupp. The Rams' coaching staff loves Robinson's veteran savvy, while he should continue to pop up for the occasional interesting statline. The problem there is the "occasional." It isn't worth trying to predict when Robinson might go off ahead of a tough Week 12 date with the Eagles.
Whittington is trending toward a Week 10 return from his multi-week shoulder injury. Demarcus Robinson's hot streak likely relegates the promising rookie to that of a bench stash though.
Puka Nacua got ejected late in the first half freeing up some routes for LA's depth receivers. With Jordan Whittington out this week, Johnson was the next man up. He reeled in a 24-yard grab in overtime that led to a Demarcus Robinson game-winning touchdown four plays later. Johnson isn't on the fantasy radar for Week 10 but is a good depth option for the Rams.
Whittington barely played in Week 7 because of the shoulder injury and missed Week 8's game against the Vikings. With Cooper Kupp back and Puka Nacua expected to play through his lingering knee issue. Whittington is not on the fantasy radar.
Whittington has gotten in back-to-back limited sessions ahead of Week 9 against the Seahawks. The rookie wideout has a good chance of going against Seattle, and if Puka Nacua (knee) can't go, he could be in for a relatively-sizeable role.
