The Ravens drafted Ali with a fifth-round pick in the 2024 NFL draft, despite Ali having suffered a ruptured biceps at the Senior Bowl. His rookie season debut was then delayed by an early September neck injury. He made his offensive debut in Week 15 but failed to sufficiently wow the coaching staff and never managed to carve out a role for himself. He tacked on 107 return yards via four kickoff returns. Ali currently profiles as a 20th-round best ball pick in 2025.
Flowers went through a short pregame workout before the Ravens made his status official but his inability to practice all week made him a long shot to play. Rashod Bateman gets another shot at playing the Ravens' No. 1 wide receiver role but tight ends Mark Andrews and Isaiah Likely will assuredly challenge him for the team lead in targets. The Ravens also declared RB Rasheen Ali, C Nick Samac, OLB Adisa Isaac, DT Josh Tupou, S Marcus Williams and S Beau Brade inactive.
Hill was completely unable to practice this week and will unfortunately miss Week 18 as the Ravens attempt to hold the No. 3 playoff seed. Backup rookie RB Rasheen Ali (hip) practiced in full on Thursday and has been cleared for action. He will replace Hill in the lineup.
Ali gets his chance to operate in the No. 2 role with Justice Hill sidelined (concussion/illness) this week. Ali has delivered mixed results since debuting in Week 15 following a stint on injured reserve, though he has flashed intriguing tackle-breaking traits at times. Ali does not need to be in re-draft lineups but could be considered in single-game DFS tournaments.
Hill wasn't spotted at the open portion of practice for the second day in a row. Head coach John Harbaugh said he expects Hill to suit up this week, so Thursday's injury report could give fantasy managers some hope. If Hill can't go, Keaton Mitchell and Rasheen Ali will back up Derrick Henry for Saturday's game.
