Thielen is unlikely to command a WR2-worthy target share if he is active this weekend but his presence would negatively impact both Xavier Legette and Jalen Coker, who could be relegated to two-wide receiver sets if Dave Canales views Coker as a slot-only player. Fantasy managers rostering all three players should continue monitoring Thielen's Week 12 status closely.
When it's all said and done, Thielen will have missed nine weeks with his hamstring injury. He was activated off IR last Tuesday. Thielen should fit into the three-wide sets with Jalen Coker and Xavier Legette down the stretch. It's impossible to have any faith in him as a fantasy option until we see some results, but he might cut into targets for Legette and Coker.
Coker's box score is underwhelming, but his share of the offense was massive in Week 10. His 41 receiving yards were good for nearly a third of Bryce Young's passing output and he logged an astounding 32 percent target share. The potential return of Adam Thielen after Carolina's Week 11 bye could stymie a potential Coker breakout, but fantasy managers with a bench spot to spare could do worse as far as wide receiver stashes go.
Panthers WR Adam Thielen (hamstring) missed practice all week and is out for Sunday morning's game vs. the Giants in Germany. Carolina will again trot out Xavier Legette, David Moore, and Jalen Coker as its top three WRs in that one.
Dallas gets Mingo, a major 2023 second round bust for Carolina, as a potential ancillary option behind CeeDee Lamb and Jalen Tolbert. Mingo had 55 receptions for 539 yards and zero touchdowns over 24 games with the Panthers. Carolina will roll with wideouts Xavier Legette and Jalen Coker along with veteran Adam Thielen for the rest of the season. Coker, a rookie, has six catches on nine targets over the past two games in the run-heavy Carolina offense.
