Good news, Chiefs fans.
Good news, Chiefs fans.
The Chiefs came out of Saturday's 27-19 win over the Texans with a few new injuries, including one to defensive tackle Chris Jones.
He was officially questionable to return, but the Chiefs were able to run out the clock. Jones was tended to by trainers briefly, but was able to walk off. He watched most of the fourth quarter while wearing a stocking cap on the sideline. With the Chiefs win, it's possible Jones will get some time off in the near future even if he is fine. Kansas City will only need one more win or Bills loss to clinch homefield and the first-round bye.
One does not need to have been an All-Pro defensive player in order to know that Chiefs defensive tackle Chris Jones is capable of taking over games, but Texans head coach DeMeco Ryans's history as a star linebacker likely makes it even easier to identify Jones as a player to stop this weekend.
